After returning from a trip the modern data traveler has not only to empty his baggage but also to sort the collected data.
In this holidays it was:
2769 images, of which 380 only for OSM.
969 POI
206 MB GPX-data
Up to now I corrected the timeshifts at the images and geotagged them.
The POI I converted into OSM format and imported 3/5 into OSM. With the latter strohi helped to do some dozen POI and several highways.
The GPX data I already uploaded to OSM and mapped already ~100 km of them as (new) highways.
After the dry numbers a raisin I picked from the bunch of images - a view into the gorge of Vigos:
Due to the lot of work (and the little happening now) I’ll write less frequent. Though I hope you stay tuned. :)
Nach der Rückkehr gibt es für den modernen Datenreisenden nicht nur die Reisetaschen zu leeren, sondern die gesammelten Daten aufzubereiten.
Während des Urlaubs habe ich gesammelt:

Bisher habe ich den Zeitversatz der Bilder korrigiert und sie mit Koordinaten versehen.
Die POI habe ich ins OSM-Format umgewandelt und zu ungefähr 3/5 in OSM importiert; dabei hat mir strohi etwas geholfen.
Die GPX-Daten habe ich natürlich zu OSM hochgeladen und schätzungsweise 100 km davon bereits als neue Straßen eingetragen.

Aufgrund der vielen Arbeit und der weniger reichlichen Neuigkeiten werde ich nicht ganz so oft wie bisher schreiben. Trotzdem hoffe ich, dass die Leserschaft mir gewogen bleibt. :)

Because of the lot of people I already met and talked to I’ll continue the reports mostly in english.
Today I had a little hike in the nice countryside with my host and some of her friends. We went to a little waterfall in whose pool Vasilis and his friends daughter had a little swim.
Later in the village we saw people coming from a funeral, shortly after preparations for a wedding party.
The church is the first orthodox one I visited, it is from the nineth century.
